This Is Who We Are....And Why We Learnt The Words To 'OH CANADA'!

Our company: Ontario Inspirations Ltd is owned by the family – Rob, Pennie, Oliver & Hannah – so it’s a passion. Between us, we have 5 qualifications and years of experience in event organisation and management. (One of us is even a qualified game keeper but we don't count that cos it's a different story!) We have done large public outdoor shows, concerts, smaller corporate events, birthday celebrations, even run a music venue. And that's without even mentioning the weddings! Just say we ‘do’ events.

Rob grew up in Canada and we have been in love with it since the 1990’s, when he took us to see his house and his school and his friends, our lives changed - just as lives do when you fall in love. After several years of visiting we bought a house in a small Ontario town and began to merge into its community. Truth be told, we were ‘those mad people who visit from England’.

But as the years passed, we really merged and made friends of all ages – from a toddler to our neighbours in their 90’s. We were asked out to dinner, to local fundraisers, to watch the local hockey and baseball teams play AND learnt the words to ‘Oh Canada’ so we’d really be a part of it all. BUT, the first time we were invited to a wedding … the seeds were sown and Maple Leaf Weddings began to evolve.

We began with a wedding in the snow at Cobble Beach. We’ve now added other venues and seasons to our portfolio. Some we’ve always loved and others we’ve found in response to your enquiries. We're always looking for the extra-special. It’s all part of the fun just like sharing our Ontario with you.
